Entertainment : In Depth: 'The Force Awakens' to play at Palace for another week

You’re in luck, Palace Patrons, if you missed our opening “Star Wars” weekend. We’re holding “The Force Awakens” for a second week.

Tickets completely sold out Sunday night, and we had very few seats remaining for the Friday and Saturday night shows. Reserve your seats in advance at the box office or at www.vintonpalace.org.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” plays Friday through Thursday at 7 pm, and Monday at 2 pm through February 4.

I’m not saying anything about this movie. I loved it and am grateful for the triggered memories, but I hate spoilers.

OK, one thing – you go, Carrie Fisher! Thirty years look fabulous on you. And Harrison Ford, I still love you and Chewy. And R2D2.

FEBRUARY

Our February schedule, reported last week, changed slightly with the “Star Wars” hold over. Next up, “Revenant,” followed by “Daddy’s Home,” “Joy,” and a three day run at the end of the month of “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.”
