Keeping Up with the Joneses is new at the Palace this week! Joneses plays in our regular schedule, Friday, December 16 through Thursday, December 22 at 7 pm, and Monday, December 19 at 2 pm. Starring Zack Galifinakis and Isla Fisher, Keeping Up with the Joneses is a spy comedy with lots of laughs! When normal suburban couple Jeff and Karen Gaffney (Galifinakis and Fisher) send their kids away for summer break, they are looking forward to a simple summer on the cul de sac. When the vacant house down the block is suddenly purchased, the Gaffneys meet their new neighbors. Polite and perfect, Tim and Natalie Jones (Jon Hamm and Gal Gadot) seems too good to be true. After doing a bit of snooping, Karen and Jeff find out that the Joneses are nothing like who they say they are. Instead of travel writing, glassblowing, media managing, and saving Sri Lankan orphans, the Joneses seem to be... spies. Good spies? Bad spies? The Gaffney's don't know, but they are naively determined to find out. The more they know the harder it is to back out, and soon the Gaffneys are in over their heads in an international plot. As the plot thickens, this normal suburban couple gets sucked into the spy mission and must use their own smarts and wits to get out of it.
'Keeping Up with the Joneses' is sure to evoke some laughs from the audience! It is rated PG-13 for sexual content, violence, and brief strong language. Most of the violence is non graphic- lots of chase-like scenes with explosions that are meant to entertain.
