Entertainment : In Depth: New Grandma tries to think about 'Start Trek: Into Darkness

Palace Patrons, you will have to forgive this self-indulgence. My daughter, Clare, gave birth to our first grandchild this week. Nora Frances Chapman was born on June 18. She weighed a whopping 9 pounds, has some dark curly hair, and is already smiling.

As a result, I just can’t think of anything to say about “Star Trek: Into Darkness!” It’s getting great reviews, and I loved the first one. As an after school Star Trek watcher in the 1970s, I was amazed at how well the actors portrayed their characters – so reminiscent!

“Star Trek: Into Darkness” opens Friday, June 21 and will run through Thursday, June 27 at 7 pm every night, and Monday, June 24 at 2 pm. This movie is rated PG-13 and runs 132 minutes.

JULY….looks great!
