The Center Point Historical Society will be holding a free walking tour of Washington Street at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 22. The tour will start at the Depot Museum, 700 Washington St., which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It will include old hotels, gas stations and livery stables.
Volunteer tour guides will include Historical Society President, Dennis Schlicht and members Teresa Scheeler, Daphne Craig Miller, Philip Andersen and Sharon Hannen.
The Depot Museum and Strait Log Cabin are open, free of charge on Sundays from 2-5 through the month of October.
