Events and Activities : Old Fashioned Community Service this Sunday at Spencer's Grove Church

Come spend an afternoon in the old country church at Spencer's Grove Church is located at 3223 51st. St., Walker, IA on Highway D-62, 4 miles west of Walker. We are having a community church service at 3 PM, this Sunday, June 23, cemetery walk at 4 PM. We will hold a Potluck Community Picnic at 5 PM in the grove: Bring food to share, your own table service, beverage (no alcohol please) and lawn chairs.

Please come, see the restored stained glass windows, sing old hymns, stroll the old cemetery with its history of the areas first settlers, then picnic in the beautiful, peaceful grove.

Step back in the times of old fashioned community connection.
