Events and Activities : “CULTIVATING YOUR ANCESTORS'

Free program on genealogy using the Internet, by Bob King,  Sat. June 4, 9 a.m., at Titan Machinery, Center Point I-380 exit.  Sponsored by the Center Point Historical Society.  An optional tour of rural cemeteries will follow, weather permitting. 

This program is a kick off to the Historical Society’s 2011 Museum season theme “Passing Through Time” about death, mourning and funeral customs.  The Depot Museum will be open every Sunday afternoon, 1 to 4, free, beginning June 5, through mid-October.
