Gov. Reynolds Signs Final Bills of 2023 Legislative Session
Governor Reynolds signed the following bills into law: SF 478: A bill for an act relating to the operation of state government, including the commencement of audits, information made available to the auditor of state, and disputes between governmental agencies. HF 466: A bill for an act relating to televised testimony in involuntary commitment hearings for persons with substance-related disorders and persons with mental illness.

Gov. Reynolds Signs Several Bills Into Law
Governor Reynolds signed the following bills into law: HF 318: A bill for an act relating to certain filing deadlines for property tax credits available to certain elderly, disabled, and low-income persons and credits for manufactured or mobile home taxes and including effective date and applicability provisions. HF 652: A bill for an act relating to the practice of barbering and cosmetology arts and sciences and providing transition provisions.

Gov. Reynolds announces $5M investment to Help Boost Food Bank Capacity
Governor Reynolds and the Iowa Economic Development Authority announced a $5 million investment in food banks and food pantry networks to help more Iowans in need get access to fresh, nutritious food. “Access to fresh foods is a challenge for those facing food insecurity and soaring inflation has made it even harder,” said Gov. Reynolds.
