Government : Benton County Board of Supervisor Minutes (2) 8/14/18

August 14, 2018 The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular adjourned session with Supervisors Primmer, Wiley and Bierschenk present. The meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. Unless otherwise noted, all actions were approved unanimously. A conference call to Mechelle Dhondt with the Mental Health Region was had to discuss the replacement of the Benton County Social Service Director. Dave Thompson was also in attendance. The Region will be highly involved with this hiring process and would like one of the supervisors to serve on the committee also. Wiley moved/Bierschenk seconded: To approve the concept and idea for the job description that was presented for a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) for Benton County and understands it might be slightly modified. The employee’s salary and benefits will be 100% reimbursable by the Region. Advertising will also be done how the Region sees fit. Motion carried.
