The last few weeks have been a flurry of technical activities around the Vinton Today "office".

Internet services to wrangle or strangle depending which service we are talking about.

Technical "geeks" to appreciate...pester and bother with changes, and ideas, and more questions.

Emails to answer.

Daily emails to breakdown.

In the mean time, we are still doing what we do best, covering the news.

Our new website it moving along nicely and again, we marvel at the generousity of our community to even make this possible.

We aren't sure yet when we will be rolling out, we have a lot of little details to take care of to get it "just right" for you. But we are getting really close to seeing it completed!

A note to our readers, it might be a good time to save any stories or obituaries from the "old' Vinton Today site, for the scrapbook...you can do the ol' copy and paste, and call Monkeytown for ink if you are like us and always out when we need it!

So keep your eyes peeled folks, it's coming soon! (REMEMBER in this day and age "soon" does not mean this week, but soon in the "old definition" way, as in weeks...not months!)
