The 4-H Building at the Benton County Fairgrounds is full of projects, each with a ribbon earned by its creator.
4-H members from throughout the county brought their items to the fairgrounds today, where judges reviewed each project and asked questions about what the 4-H member did to accomplish the project.
Many of the entries will advance to the Iowa State Fair.
A list of ribbon winners will be published after the Fair has concluded.
Fund-raisers
Three separate fund-raising events are taking place this week during the Fair.
Friends of 4-H will be holding pie auctions. The Iowa 4-H Foundation has a silent auction under way, in the NW corner of the 4-H Building. And the Fair Board is also raising funds for a new livestock barn that will replace three older buildings. That project is set to begin Monday.
