Kailey Lazenby seems larger than life as her VS cheerleading teammates hold her up during Garrison Fun Day. Long before you see them along the sidelines, the Vinton-Shellsburg High School cheerleaders are busy working throughout the summer, at community events like Party in the Park and this weekend's Garrison Fun Day. The 18 cheerleaders for this coming football season include 9 veterans and 9 newcomers, several of which will be freshmen when classes begin next month. Kailey Lazenby took her turn atop the pyramid as the girls practiced some routines in Garrison on Saturday.
