News : Legion Fall Festival offers hog-wrangling, scarecrow-building and more

Are you in the mood to wrangle a pig? Or maybe, building a scarecrow is more to your taste? If either of these activities -- or many more -- appeal to you, the George G. Luckey American Legion Post has an opportunity for you. The Legion will host its annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 3-7 p.m. at the Legion Hall on R Avenue on the west edge of Vinton. Food items will be offered, along with a bouncy house and a hay ride, and much more.
