Continuing a tradition that began a few years ago, the VS Vikette golf team members gathered at Ehlinger's on Thursday to paint windows and enjoy a free meal from McDonald's. The team will compete in the Class 3A State Golf Tournament next Tuesday and Wednesay, May 30-31, at theLake Panorama National Golf Course in rural Panora west of Des Moines.
Team members Lillie Lamont, Emily Blake, Brandi Gerber, Rachel Tandy, Alex Maynard and Halie Engler participated in the window painting.
