The weather will be changing and so should your driving behavior. Ice and snow are just around the corner. Remember to slow down, allow plenty of space around you and drive responsibly.
Be careful of slow moving and wide-load vehicles and those vehicles turning into fields this time of year. Harvest season is upon us!
Research shows which behaviors contribute to teen-related crashes. Inexperience and immaturity combined with speed, drinking and driving, not wearing seat belts, distracted driving (cell phone use, loud music, other teen passengers, etc.), drowsy driving, nighttime driving, and other drug use aggravate this problem.
Teen drivers under the age of 18 are not allowed by law to use any electronic equipment that didn't come from the manufacturer"ฆ.. No aux cords, aux jacks, cell phones.
Teen fatalities are on the rise in Iowa- Be part of the solution not a statistic. Buckle Up and put the phone down!
