The Varsity football team will host Columbus Catholic, starting at 7:00 p.m. The induction ceremony will be held during halftime. This year’s inductees are as follows: Robert Fischer Class of 1973 8-time letter winner in Football, Track and Baseball All-conference and All-state recognition in Football Set 9 individual school records in Football Member of 1st Viking Baseball WaMaC Championship team Dustin Schirm Class of 2006 7-time letter winner in Football, Basketball and Baseball All-district and All-state recognition in Football Set 3 individual school records in Football All-conference recognition in Basketball 2-time WaMaC West Champions in Basketball All-conference and All-district recognition in Baseball WaMaC West Co-Champions in Baseball Phillip Miller Class of 2008 11-time letter winner in Football, Wrestling, Track & Baseball All-district recognition in Football 2-time State qualifier in Wrestling; 7th Place Medalist in 2007 215# WaMaC Runner-up in 2008 Currently 8th place in V-S Career Wins 2-time State qualifier in Track & Field Currently 4th Place in V-S Shot Put Elizabeth “Liz” Hill Class of 2008 7-time letter winner in Swimming, Basketball and Softball All-conference recognition in Basketball and Softball All-district recognition in Softball Member of 1st Vikette Softball WaMaC West Championship team Currently 7th in V-S Career Wins Holds V-S Single Season Strikeout record – 193 2008 Vikette of the Year There will be a public reception at the Vinton Country Club after the game to honor our 2018 Inductees.
