News : Benton County Sheriff's Report and arrest log, April 2013

Benton County Sheriff Randall Forsyth reports that deputies answered 250 calls for service and investigated 21 accidents. Deputies attempted to serve 201 civil papers and issued 44 traffic citations and 100 traffic warnings.

There were 18 arrests/juvenile referrals with 22 charges being filed in April 2013.

(4) were simple misdemeanors, (13) were indictable misdemeanors, and (5) were felony charges.

Charges included: Arrest Warrants served – 6; Assault – 3; Burglary - 2; Criminal Mischief – 1; Driving While Suspended / Revoked / Barred – 1; Operating While Intoxicated – 5; False Reports – 1; Leaving Scene of Personal Injury Accident – 1; Theft – 2.
