Hugh
S. Fossum, 74, of Goffstown, New Hampshire passed away February 7th
in the comfort of his home after a long courageous battle with
multiple myeloma.
He
was born November 20, 1946 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Julia (Spickler)
and Ernest Fossum. He graduated from Iowa State Teachers College High
School in 1965 and later from the University of Northern Iowa. Lenora G. Burry
Lenora Burry, 87, entered into the gates of heaven Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Ravenwood Specialty Care Center in Waterloo.Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton with Pastor Matt Hantz officiating. Easton Richard Lindeman, at the age of 3, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital following a year-long battle with cancer. Betty Ann (Fahnle) McKechnie, 91, of Atkins, IA passed away peacefully in Cedar Rapids, IA on February 6, 2021. She endured Parkinson’s for years with grace and never a complaint. Private family services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walford, IA with Pastor Michelle Schultz presiding. Interment will be at Cedar Memorial Park in Cedar Rapids. Merle Francis Roths
Merle Francis Roths, 97, passed away peacefully Monday, February 8, 2021, at the Vinton Lutheran Home.Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton at a later date.Merle was born January 8, 1924, in rural Ionia, Iowa, the son of Alfred M. and Caroline E. Arnhalt Roths. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith in Ionia. He graduated from New Hampton High School in 1942. Kathy Rae Walton
Kathy Rae Walton, 65, passed away unexpectedly, in her home, on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Kathy was born December 14, 1955 in San Diego, CA, the daughter of Raymond and Hazel (Becker) Walton.
