Arline M. Lahue

Arline M. Lahue Arline M. Lahue VINTON - Arline M. Lahue, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Vinton with Pastor Jared Cline officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. Arline will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Urbana Cemetery.

Dorothy Lutz

GUTTENBERG: Dorothy Clare Lutz, 99 a resident of the Guttenberg Care Center and formerly of Vinton died Sunday, February 4, 2018 following an extended illness. Private family services will be held at a later date. Dorothy Baum was born April 24, 1918 in rural Benton County to Dewey and Ethel (Donley) Baum. She was united in marriage to Marion G. Lutz on May 14, 1938.

Ervin Ray Krug

Ervin Ray Krug was born January 23, 1928 in Dysart, Iowa, the son of Edward and Bertha (Urmy) Krug. He grew up on the family farm and attended a one room schoolhouse through 8th grade, and graduated from Dysart High School. Ervin first worked for his brother, Marvin, as a hired hand. He met Darlene Sturtz on a blind date at the roller skating rink, and they were married on September 17, 1950, at the Presbyterian Church in Vinton.

Bonnie Belle Fett

Bonnie Fett was a cosmopolitan woman: she was born NORTH of Urbana; raised SOUTH of Urbana, in Red Brush; lived IN the city of Urbana, to attend and graduate from Urbana High School in 1938; and spent the majority of her life farming with her husband Lorenz two and a half miles EAST of Urbana, on Honey Hill. She loved Urbana. Her husband Lorenz once joked that Bonnie believed that those from Urbana who went to Heaven when they died had to be chained down to keep them from returning.

Richart L. "Dick" Mann

Richart L. "Dick" Mann, 77, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, January 26, 2018, in his home. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A family memorial service will take place at a later date in Vinton, Iowa, and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton. Richart Lee Mann was born August 24, 1940, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Harold Etna "Curly" and Maxine Bernice Richart Mann.

Riege, 101 of Vinton, formerly of Dubuque passed from this earth to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab.A Celebration of her Life will be 12:00 pm (noon), Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service 3860 Asbury, Dubuque, Iowa where the family will greet friends 10:30 am until service time on May 12th at funeral home.

David was born February 27, 1967, in Vinton, Iowa, the son of Richard Vernon and Victoria L.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 19, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
