Lily Vogt Bearbower, 86, died Monday, February 11, 2013 at Virginia Gay hospital following an extended illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark C. Urlaub officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. Hazel A. Bird
HAYESVILLE -- Hazel A. Bird, age 81, of Hayesville, died Saturday, February 9, 2013, at her home.
Hazel was born May 5, 1931, in Sigourney, to Harley and Violet (Miller) Woods and attended Sigourney schools. On July 22, 1948, she married Harold Bird. The couple lived in the Hayesville area, where Hazel sold Avon and Tri-Chem for several years. Shirley Rae Geiger
VINTON – Shirley Rae Geiger, 58, died Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha following a long illness.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton. Per Shirley’s wishes, she will be cremated following the visitation and inurnment will be held in the spring at the Brandon Cemetery. Dorothy Alice Lane

KEYSTONE: Martha Mary Kimm, 81, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center following an extended illness.

VINTON: Kevin C. Faas, 56, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton following an extended illness.
In accordance with Kevin's wishers there will be no public services.
Kevin was born August 28, 1956 in Cedar Rapids to Mel and Leita (Feckley) Faas.

VINTON -- Nelda Ruth Primmer Eckhart, 83, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab in Vinton following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at First Christian Church in Vinton with Rev. Connie Wacht officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p. Donald J. Becker
Donald J. Becker, 73, of Chandler, Ariz. and Watkins, Iowa, died Jan. 31, 2013, after a lingering illness. Services at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, St. Patrick’s Church, Watkins with Father Craig Steimel as celebrant. Public visitation also will be held at the church from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.

Clarence E. Kisling, 92, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at West Ridge Care Center in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. Sixth St.) in Vinton, with the Rev. Melanie Van Weelden officiating.
