Obituaries : Roger Bird

Roger Bird, 61 died October 25, 2021 at his home in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born February 9, 1960 to Harold and Hazel Woods Bird in Sigourney, Iowa. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1978. He married Fontelle Hindon and they later divorced, he married Brenda Fulmer and they later divorced. He married Lisa Bentz and they later divorced. He lived in California and returned to Sigourney and he was employed by the City of Sigourney, Tony Herman, Paduke Snakenberg. He owned and operated R & R Excavating and later at worked at Manatts. He enjoyed his family, working, The Price Is Right and old television shows.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son R.J. Bird, grandparents, sister-in-law Mary Bird, nephew Brian Bird.

He is survived by two daughters Brandi Fulmer of South Carolina, Sarah White of Sigourney, one son Denver (Alyssa) Bird of Sigourney, four grandchildren Siarah Groves, Robert White Jr., Roger Bird Jr., Portland Bird. Three brothers Larry Bird of Hayesville, Monte (Nancy) Bird of Sigourney, Tim (Denise) Bird of Vinton three sisters Cindy (Joe) Kolosick of Marion, Beverly (Randy) Muntz of Pekin, and Tracy (Lance) Okones of Sigourney and many nieces and nephews.
