Arthur Franklin Harris, age 79, Bloomington, California passed suddenly on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his home. He was born in Iowa on June 5, 1942, to Thornton and Bernelta (Bahnsen) Harris.

He graduated from Tipton High School in 1961 and joined the Navy in 1963. Art married his wife Sharon Lee (Hope) Harris of California in June of 1963. He worked for GTE which later became Verizon, retired 2002. Art loved his family, friends, neighbors, and horses!Arthur is survived by two daughters and one grandson, Teresa Harris and Christopher Russell, and Deborah Harris all of California; three Iowa sisters: Dorothy Hampton, Joyce Lucas, and Becky Harris; also many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Donald Harris. Their loving family pet, Star, passed away months prior.Cremation rites have been accorded. DH June 6, 2022, 10:09 pm Such a sad day for me I loved working pbx jobs for the phone company. He loved working on the pbx equipment he was always laughing and we joked a lot together. So very sorry for his family but heaven will be getting one hell of a nice guy. Art take care of that phone system in heaven, you will truly be missed by me and everyone he knew. He truly was one of the good guys!
