Virginia Marion Ferguson, 94, of Sun City, Ariz., passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021. A family graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Urbana Memorial Cemetery, Urbana.
Virginia was born in Deer Lodge, Mont. Later moved to Seattle, Wash., where her and husband Marshal lived. She worked at Woolworths's downtown Seattle for 48 years. She and Marshal enjoyed coming to Urbana, Iowa, every year to visit Marshal's family, the Glenn Ferguson's. Her faith in God and family was her source of strength that helped her cope with the early death of her husband. Virginia loved traveling and visited many countries.
She is survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshal Ferguson; parents, Pauline and Arther Erickson; in-laws, Glenn and Gladys Ferguson; sisters Leona, Ethel, Dorothy and Delores; and brother, Arthur Jr.
