Obituaries : Larry Fetzer

Larry Fetzer, 73, died at his residence Sunday, August 21, 2022 following a lingering illness.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home, Vinton with memorial services to follow. Burial in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

Larry was born April 12, 1949 at Marengo, the son of Franklyn and Velma (Rathjen) Fetzer. He was a graduate of Washington High School, Vinton. Following graduation, Larry was employed by Hawk Bilt. Upon their closure, Larry then joined the family farming operation.

As time would allow, Larry found enjoyment riding motorcycles, shooting pool with friends and listening to music.

Larry is survived by his brother, John Fetzer; nephew, Kelly (Jamie) Fetzer; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
