Sandra Yvonne Wickwire, 83, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away, November 7, 2022 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.

Sandra was born June 27, 1939 to Milo and Marie (Butterfield) Ealy in Marengo, IA. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1958. On May 10, 1958, Sandra married Alan C. Wickwire at Christ United Methodist Church, Belle Plaine. Together they started their family in Belle Plaine, while Sandra worked for the Grocery Store. As the kids grew, they moved to Atkins, IA for 10 years before moving back to Belle Plaine. Sandra then went to work for Citizens State Bank until retirement in 1999.

Family was everything to Sandra. Together with Alan, they enjoyed, square dancing, playing cards, fishing, camping and she loved watching the birds. Sandra cherished her time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dog, Molly.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Alan of Belle Plaine; children, Julie (Paul) Pink and Jeff (Kim) Wickwire both of Belle Plaine; grandchildren, Aleka West, Alan Wickwire, Eric (Janeen) Wickwire, Chad (Ashley) Herman, Katie (Charlie) Criswell; great-grandchildren, Nathan West, Jacob, Jared, Chase, Lillian Wickwire, Abby and Taylor Herman, Caleb, Ryan, Eli Criswell; sister-in-law, Janet Dains of Marengo.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; brother, David (Emrie) Ealy; sister, Eunice (Louis) Reed; granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Wickwire.

Services is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine, IA with Pastor Derrick Okine officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine.

Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, November 8th at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
