When the heartache subsides, I have to come up with a new word, because 'thank you' is not enough.

In this gray December, we have had the warmest hugs from all those who we already knew loved us. In everyday life, we fail to take the time to listen to how much we love each other. Please forgive us.

When we received the worst call of our lives on Tuesday, December 6th, from that moment on and without stopping, we have been surrounded by so many hands, fed with shared tears, covered with words of comfort and lent so many hearts that the word 'thank you' is not enough.

We celebrated in Iowa a first farewell with our dear shared family Pratt-Walters; thanks to the STS organization, and all of Interway and, above all, thanks to Francisco Ferrán de Irizar, for his generous availability and his tenderness on this round trip. They celebrated in his memory, on the same day of our return home, a mass in the church of Portillo, thanks to Santiago Sánchez Jorcano and Mari Carmen García, for their availability and care of his light.

The celebration at his school, in Marianistas de Zaragoza, with so many kisses inside and outside the church, because they could not fit, was the greatest act of love we have ever attended. Special thanks to Father Pedro and the entire Marianist community. We also celebrated a mass in Quinto, to remember his summers, his camps and to thank that the seeds of his childhood germinated in the best land.

Thanks to those who gave me life and taught me to live it fully. My gratitude to my parents. To those who introduced me to the person I chose to spend my life with. To the brothers and sisters who shared their childhood and to the brothers and sisters who joined later. To my family at birth, to my growing family, and to the ones I consider family. To friends from all stages of our lives who surround us with their hugs and I always know where they are. To those we've shared a strong bond with. To the companions of each dawn who breathe the same days. To the children, to the fifteen year old wonders who are friends of our children, Yago and Gracia. As I have not been able to invent another word yet... thank you and thank you again.
