Rosie was born on August 19, 1940, in Tuscaloosa, AL the daughter of Ernest and Mary Ida (Godfrey) Rodenhofer. In 1973, she was united in marriage to Leo C. Mangold at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
Rosie chose to donate her body to the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine for scientific study.
Rosie worked for 17 years at Walmart on Blairsferry Road. Her passion was arts and crafts and she loved to attend craft shows. She also loved wildlife, camping, fishing, and gambling. She enjoyed the Meskwaki Casino in Tama, and was also fond of the American Pow Wow, and the Native American lifestyle. Rosie had a son, Michael, who she lost at age 11. She also lost her special loving dog, Princess at age 19 and a half. She was looking forward to seeing them both again.
She is survived by her husband Leo; daughter, Victoria Ghandi; step-daughters, Diane (Bob) Salloum, Karen Frenc, Jamie Dillman, Susan Campbell; and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Rosie also wanted to say good-by to her special friends, Barbara & her daughter, Kathy D & Ted, Rebel & Deborah, Destiny & Dakota, Mark & Sandy, and Alice…"The wine is waiting" "Take my soul to everlasting peace"
