Lydelle K. Bryant, (age 74) 5008 Linkside Drive Las Vegas, NV passed away May 9th at 7:00pm following a short illness. Visitation, without the body present, will be Friday May 21st at Phillips Funeral Home (Keystone) from 4-8pm. Services will be held Saturday May 22nd at 10am at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church (Cedar Rapids) by Father Mark Osterhaus.
Survivors include her husband, Donald, a daughter and son-in-law Kathy (KB) and David Sisco of Las Vegas, Nevada, a sister Jean (Peggy) Maher of Las Vegas, Nevada, a step grandson Shaun Sisco of Cedar Rapids, IA and two step great grandchildren, Kirsten and Isaac Sisco of Urbandale as well as her two special grand-dogs Zeke and Jackpot of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lydelle was born May 29th 1935 in Van Horne the daughter of Edwin and Regina Maher. She graduated from Van Horne Consolidated School, Van Horne, in 1953. On August 30th 1954 she married Donald Bryant at St. Matthews Catholic church, Cedar Rapids. Lydelle taught preschool at Jane Boyd Community House for 17 years. After retirement she volunteered at Bethany Lutheran Preschool for 8 years. The children gave her so much.
Lydelle was preceded in death by her parents and two infant children, Mary and Anthony.
