Sports : Several Vikikngs earn All-Conference honors

Vinton-Shellburg baseball players Taylor Leyden (pitcher), Nolan Edwards (infielder) and Gunner Tranel (outfielder) were named to the WaMaC West First Team All-Conference team, after voting by the conference coaches.

Second team honorees from Vinton-Shellsburg included Matt DeVries (catcher), Clint Ferguson (outfielder) and Carson Struve (utility).

Phillip Close received honorable mention as an infielder.
