Football players from the Vinton-Shellsburg High School, as well as the younger players from grades 4-6 who compete in the Metro league, suited up for the annual VSHS Fall Blowout Friday night.
For the younger players, it was photo day, as they lined up for team photos as well as individual shots. For the high school players, it was a scrimmage to help prepare for this week's opening game against Benton Community.
The sophomores squared off against the freshmen for a couple of quarters before the varsity players took the field. The VS cheerleaders also participated.
