Sports : Benton edges Vikette golfers at Tara Hills

VS golfer Lauren Tandy shot a 45 to earn the top medal, but the Benton Community team edged the Vikettes by two strokes during Thursday's dual.

Lauren Tandy picked up another medalist honor; she is shooting very consistent scores. Our team putted better tonight.  Low putts were 15 by Olivia Ketchen (who had a birdie on #3) and Alex Maynard (who had a chip in on #1). Saturday V-S came out ahead by one stroke; tonight Benton was the victor by two strokes.  These two teams meet again at the WAMAC West Divisional meet and at the Super Meet. 

The Vikettes travel next to Manchester Monday for the West Delaware Invitational and next Thursday to Center Point for a dual with CPU.
