Olivia Walker shot a 48 to lead the V-S girls golf team to a 202-227 win at Center Point-Urbana Thursday evening.

Our varsity had a much better night putting: Kaiti Kilpatrick had 14 and Olivia Walker 15. But we had some holes on which some of our varsity struggled.  Jessie Noren turned in one of her best varsity rounds and Olivia Walker was solid and medaled. Lindsey Miller (54) and Mikayla Howard (55)had strong rounds playing JV and earned medals.

Both teams will compete Monday at Gardner Golf Course in Marion in the WAMAC West Division nine hole tournament with a 2:00 pm start.  Vinton-Shellsburg hosts their last home meet next Thursday at the Vinton Country Club.
