Sports : Cedar Rapids RoughRiders hockey team visits VPRD

Six players from the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders hockey team visited VPRD's floor hockey league participants on Tuesday, March 1st. Not only did the players provide an informative Q&A session, but also signed autographs and even got in the rink with all of the kids to play some hockey. Tickets for the Vinton Community Night at the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders game on Saturday, March 12th are still available for purchase at the reduced rate of $9 until Tuesday, March 8th. Tickets can be purchased at either the Vinton Recreation Center or at Ron-Da-Voo.
