I was pleased with the girls' rounds with less than desirable weather conditions; they were soaking wet before 9 holes were finished. Freshman Mara Jessen shot a season's best round of 47 and tied for an 8th place medal. Mara birdied the par three #3! She also had low putts with 15. Mara has been a varsity member all season and has consistently scored well. Hannah Looney had 16 putts which is her lowest for the season. We were missing Kelsey Mahood who was ill, but we had four solid scores despite the weather.
Districts @ Waverly Monday with a 10:00 start at Waverly Golf Course. Two of 8 teams advance to Regionals the following Monday @ Hampton.
