The two VSHS teams: Kelsey Mahood/Seth Inman and Erin Randall/Dylan Rippel
Two teams from Vinton-Shellsburg participated in the State Coed Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 7 in Adel, Iowa, at River Valley Golf Course. Schools in Class 3A and 4A competed together. It is an alternate shot format; the girls tee off on the even numbered holes and the boys tee off on the odd numbered holes.
The tournament was won by a team from Urbandale who shot a sizzling 72 in the hot, windy conditions. Kelsey Mahood/Seth Inman shot a 101. Erin Randall/Dylan Rippel shot a 102.
