Brady Ortner competes at AAU Pee Wee State meet.

Bryce Radeke and Brady Ortner competed at the Iowa AAU Super Pee Wee State at Young Arena in Waterloo, March 6th and 7th.

Brady Ortner of Shellsburg (Kindergarten) was the Iowa AAU Super Pee Wee 52-pound State Champion. He had a 16 Man Bracket and pinned his way through his bracket.

Bryce Radeke of Vinton (1st Grade), was State Runner-Up in the 50-pound class.

He had a 32 Man Bracket. Bryce pinned the first two and won 8-4 to get himself into the finals.

Coach Joel Neve runs the Kd-8th grade program in Vinton called the Viking Wrestling Club. The 3-8th grade wrestlers competed in districts at Cedar Rapids Prairie. Several advanced to the State meet later this month.
