What a difference a couple of days make!  Home course and better weather conditions were contributors.  We had a number of personal bests:  These are the lowest scores in competion for Cara Hach, Natalie Ketchen and Katie Lovell.  Erin Randall tied her lowest score.  This is the lowest V-S team score since 2008.  We reduced penalty strokes and putted much better than Tuesday.  Liz Moen had low putts: 17.

I was very pleased and proud of these girls.  They have been intent upon improving their games and scores.  I shuffled our lineup and they all hung in there and played their own game. They were focused tonight, but I observed them enjoying the game and the competitors they were playing with.

Next week’s schedule:  Jesup Monday at Wildcat, Shellsburg.  Tuesday we host another quad at Vinton Country Club.  Saturday, April 21 we play at the Benton Invitational at Tara Hills.
