Two sophomore pitchers led the Vinton-Shellsburg baseball team to a season-opening win at South Tama Tuesday night.
Darrin Charlier started the game for the Vikings, whose offense gave him a 4-0 lead before he took the mound. Nolan Edwards got the save for the Vikings, pitching the sixth and seven innings.
