On Saturday evening, the Vinton Community Swimming Pool hosted its 2nd annual Cardboard Boat Races. We had a lot of great entries into the competition and most of the boats managed to cross the finish line without sinking!
Attached are pictures of all the names of the boat racers and their boat's name.

Winners of the races are as follows:
13 & Younger Division: Gwen King - Castaway Shark Boat
14 & Older Division:  Travis Scott - S.S. Minnow
Doubles Division: Max & Sophia Vasquez - The Pink Pig
Titanic Award (most dramatic sinking): Abigail & Jessica Warmenhoven
Best Buoyant Beginning (most likely to float): Kale Schulte - The King
Best Costume: Jacob Worthen - S.S Ron Tharp
