Et cetera Anonymous donor thanks VSHS for \'Footloose\'; seniors to see \'War Horse\' in DM

An anonymous donor -- a Vinton resident who calls himself "One Hand Clapping" -- has offered to send the senior members of the VSHS 'Footloose" cast and crew to see 'War Horse" on the big stage in Des Moines.

Seniors Aaron Burkey (Chuck Cranston), Will Hancock (Ren McCormack), Katie Paustian (Bobbie Sue), Josh Ridley (Jeter), Megan Ternus (Shirleen) and Austin Bader will visit the Des Moines Civic Center this Saturday to see "War Horse." The stage version of the story which recently appeared on movie screens uses large puppets for the horses. 

Adults from the VS staff who were also in "Footloose" will accompany the students. Le Cox, Eric Upmeyer and Superindentend Mary Jo Hainstock also had roles in the musical.
