  AmeriCorps NCCC team, Oak 2, worked in Oscoda, Mich. with YMCA Camp Nissokone.  At Camp Nissokone, NCCC members had the chance to experience the various camp activities while working to improve the facilities for future campers.

Stewarts Duroc Farm of Waverly exhibited the Champion Boar and Champion Gilt in the Duroc Swine Show August 17 at the 2012 Iowa State Fair. Jack Bair and Family of Elkhart claimed Reserve Champion Boar honors and Ploeger Show Pigs of Pierson exhibited the Reserve Champion Gilt.
