Upper Iowa University announces Spring 2011 Dean's List

  Upper Iowa University names its 2011 Spring Dean's List. To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 G.P.A. for the semester and be enrolled as a full-time student.

Area Youth raise needed funds for projects

The Blessed Hope Youth, raised money for their missions trip this summer by grilling hot dogs in the Fareway parking lot last weekend. The youth have been involved in other fundraising events throughout the year to help pay for this trip.

Atkins Family Met with Grassley

  Senator Chuck Grassley met this week with Robert and Carolyn Spading, and their children, Greggory and McKinley, of Atkins, while they were on vacation in Washington, D.
