  Missing since Monday 7-11-11 in Vinton, older female collie mix mostly black w/tan and cream undercoat, gray on face and missing with her is a black male scottish terrier mix (he is afraid of strangers).

  Former Vinton Sweet Adeline members met June 8 for lunch and reminiscing. The group won 1st place in Region 6 competitions in 1965 under the direction of Jean Reipe.

Honor Flights get unexpected donation

  Eastern Iowa Honor Flight got an unexpected shot in the arm. Mr. Myron Wilson of Cedar Rapids donated $50,000, that's right fifty thousand dollars.
