Events and Activities : Vinton Lutheran Home plans annual Ice Cream Social, Aug. 3

The Vinton Lutheran Home is celebrating 60+ years of carrying on their mission of “Providing Quality Christian Care and Service” to residents and clients. They will be hosting the annual Vinton Lutheran Home Ice Cream Social in just a few days! The Ice Cream Social is on Sunday, August 3rd from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and is open to the public. During the Social there will be entertainment, ice cream, homemade pies, baked goods, a kid’s area, a country store, grab bags, donation drawings, and much more!

The Vinton Lutheran Home Auxiliary consists of 45+ active members who generously donate their time organizing and sponsoring fund-raisers, and also volunteer in the Lutheran Home Community Facilities on a regular basis. The Ice Cream Social is the Auxiliary's biggest fund-raiser of the year. All proceeds raised will go towards garden renovation projects at the Nursing Facility and Assisted Living.
