VINTON – Kenneth Freeman Horning, 76, died March 7, 2014, at his home in Vinton due to an accidental fall.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Vinton Presbyterian Church. Inurnment with military rites will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.
Kenneth was born November 20, 1937, in Vinton, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Ethel Pingenot Horning. Fay A. Strait

Vinton—Margaret L. Henry, 90, died peacefully February 20, 2014 at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab with her family at her side. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Margaret was born December 2, 1923, in Rowley, Iowa, the daughter of Harvey and Maggie Gabbott Burroughs. She was raised in the Mt. Auburn/Vinton area and graduated from Lincoln High School in Vinton.
