CEDAR RAPIDS – Bonnie Jean Hamman Kruse, 85 of Cedar Rapids died Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha.       Funeral Services for Bonnie will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Phillips Funeral Home, 108 Fremont Street in Blairstown with Rev.

VINTON – Ronald “Ronnie” Tharp, 41 of Dandridge, TN and formerly of Vinton died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Dandridge, TN following a sudden illness.       Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the First Christian Church in Vinton with Pastor Connie Wacht officiating.

     Vinton—Dick L. Brammer, age 57, died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab in Vinton.  Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home.  Private family burial.     Dickie Lee Brammer was born October 24, 1954 in Iowa City, the son of Henry and Mary Lou Blaine Brammer.

MARION:      Lyla May Wubbena, 82, of Marion, formerly of Vinton, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at her home in Marion following an sudden illness      A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Phillips Family Center (605 2nd Avenue) in Vinton.

ATKINS:      Don E. Weichman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, 84 , of Newhall, Iowa, died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa following an extended illness.      Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St.

Duane Eldon Mullinex, 76, of Maquoketa, formerly of Shellsburg, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at Jackson County Hospital in Maquoketa following a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at Phillips Family Center, 605 Second Ave., Vinton. Friends may call at the Family Center from 1 p.m. until service time. He is survived by his children, Eric (Jessica) Mullinex of Cedar Rapids, Stacey Mullinex of Independence and Stephanie Mullinex of Waterloo; and his sisters, Norma Coy of Shellsburg, June Breedlove of Oklahoma and Imogene Shoemaker of Arizona.

VINTON -- Marjorie Catherine Bordwell, 92, of Vinton, died Monday, October 31, 2011, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2011, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Vinton with Fr. Ardel Barta as Celebrant. Inurnment will be at 12:30 p.m. in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Norway.

VINTON:  Trudy Harmon-Pierce, 77 of Vinton and formerly of Erie, PA died Sunday, October 30, 2011 in Vinton.  Funeral Arrangements are pending with Phillips Funeral Homes - Vinton.

Rachel Mae Duncalf, 93, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at the Keystone Nursing Care Center, Keystone, where she had been a resident since this past March. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Van Horne, with Father Brian Dellaert as celebrant. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, near Keystone.
