Scam Alerts: Receiving Unwanted Phone Calls Appearing to be from VGH?
We have had reports of VGH phone numbers being “spoofed”—that is, someone has disguised their phone number as a VGH phone number and is calling people for addresses or possible personal information. Even though the number appears to be a VGH number, these calls are not from the VGH. When VGH does call, VGH staff will: give their first names, provide department and provide a call-back number if you are questioning the validity of the call.

Those receiving the award under the guidance of VSCSD Spanish instructor Michele Lash include Zena Aragon, Natalie Armstrong, Carly Bendull, Katelyn Hyland, Samantha Walton, and Jozee White.

VSCSD Foundation awarded 38 Scholarships to Vinton-Shellsburg Students
The Vinton-Shellsburg Community School Foundation is in its 26th year of supporting graduating students with scholarships and providing opportunities for students from PK-12th grade. Many generous people have given funds for the benefit of generations to come, and this year the Foundation wishes to recognize those people and share their stories. Tony Bopp created a scholarship fund in honor of his late wife Jill Lockard-Bopp, to support students pursuing post-secondary education in the performing arts.
