Marjory J. Thompson, 95, of Fort Dodge passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge. A Celebration Of Life and graveside service will be held 2pm Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton, IA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.Marjory Thompson, the daughter of Devere and Bertha (Pollock) Crisman, was born on July 12, 1924 near Vinton, IA.

Deborah Brimeyer, 55, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at her home in Van Horne.Debbie was born on May 25, 1966 in Washington DC and moved to Longmont, Colorado in 1967. She graduated from Olde Columbine High School in 1984. Debbie was a loving mother, and a caring friend. She loved camping, swimming and most of all she loved animals. Debbie cherished spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Ronald E. Dowd, 86, died peacefully at home Wednesday, August 18, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton with Rev. Brian Channel officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, at the church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton with full military rites.

Clarence Wayne Blanchard, 76, of Vinton, Iowa, formerly of Central City, Iowa, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at his home after a courageous 16-year battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Chad Schwarting, 48, of Quasqueton, IA died on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.Chad Erin Schwarting was born on March 31, 1973, in Vinton, IA the son of Herman "Tony" and Theresa (Luze) Schwarting. He was raised outside of Rowley, IA, attended the Independence Community Schools, and was a 1991 graduate of Independence High School.

Dylan Mark Dvorak, 29, of Keystone, IA passed away August 22, 2021 at his home.Dylan was born May 23, 1992 to Mark and Nancy (Waln) Dvorak in Cedar Rapids, IA. He graduated from Benton Community High School, class of 2010 and was an Eagle Scout with Scout Troop 46 of Blairstown and member of Homer Hornets 4-H Club. Following High School, Dylan went to Kirkwood and graduated from the automotive program.

Charlotte Ann Fett, age 91, died peacefully Sunday, August 22nd, 2021, at The Gardens of Cedar Rapids with her family by her side.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Presbyterian Church in Vinton with Pastor Jody Skogen officiating. Visitation: 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. preceding the funeral at the Presbyterian Church. Burial: Maplewood Cemetery, Vinton.

Martin John "Marty" Junge, age 67, passed away on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 at his home in Van Horne, following a sudden illness. A visitation will be held at Philips Funeral Home in Keystone on Thursday, August 26th from 2 pm to 7 pm. A private family burial will take place the morning of Friday, August 27th and his life will be honored with a luncheon and celebration of life on Friday, August 27th beginning at 12:00pm with a memorial service, at the Keystone Turner Hall.

Alice Fitzpatrick, 75, of Marion, Iowa, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021, at UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A Celebration of Life willtake place at a later date; as well as burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Vinton, Iowa. Michael (Mike) Wrenden Fall passed away at his home on Aug. 19, 2021. Mike grew up in and spent most of his life in Olin. He was an over-the-road truck driver for Fall's Trucking for many years before retiring from Tipton Electric Motors. Mike loved cars and could often be found tinkering in the family garage.Mike is survived by three sons, Chad (Amber) Fall of Clarence, Iowa, Mike (Melinda) Fall of Vinton, Iowa, and Matt (Brenna) Fall of Ely, Iowa; seven grandchildren; two brothers, David (Connie) Fall of Olin, Iowa, and Randy (Marty) Fall of Anamosa, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
