VINTON – Jacque L. Cashman, 61, of Vinton, died Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton following a courageous battle with cancer.
A visitation will be held 4 to 7 pm Monday, November 19, 2012 at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton. According to her wishes, Jacque’s body will be cremated and she will be laid to rest with her husband David in Big Grove Cemetery in rural Garrison. Tina Ellis
Tina Marie Ellis, 39, of Watkins, died Monday, November 12, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, from injuries suffered in a car accident. Larry E. Hopper, 75, of Toledo, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Chaplain Harlan Nuss officiating. Ruth Adele Lattimer, 84, of Vinton, Iowa passed away Wednesday October 24, 2012 at the Windsor Manor in Vinton. As were her wishes, she will be cremated. There will be a service and meal on December 2nd at 3:00pm at the Iowa Braille Site Saving School cafeteria, 1002 G Avenue, Vinton, Iowa.
Ruth is survived by one sister, Ima Jean Smalley of Vinton, IA; one brother, Dale Franklin of Naples, FL; two foster children she and Lester raised, Vicky and Gary Kruse, both of Des Moines, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
