Richard "Dick" E. Haskins, 83, passed away January 14, 2011 at Urbandale Senior Suites after a 13 month courageous battle with brain cancer. To honor his wishes, Dick will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. GARRISON: Eleanor M. Nessler, 86, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Virginia Gay Nursing & Rehab in Vinton following an extended illness.
To honor Eleanor's request there will be no public services. Private Committal Services will be held at the Garrison Cemetery at a later date. Phillips Funeral Home in Vinton is in charge of arrangements.
