Melvin Lee 'Bud' Koehn, 78, Vinton
Melvin Lee "Bud" Koehn, 78, of Vinton, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha due to complications of ALS.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Honoring Bud's wishes, his body will be cremated.
Bud was born March 17, 1932, in Okeene, Oklahoma, the son of Eli and Susanna Theissen Koehn. Dean A. Albert, 74, Brandon

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Church of Christ in Brandon with Rev. Bill Kelly officiating. Funeral Services were held in Oakdale, California earlier this month.

Charles C. Desaulniers, 63, died April 4, 2010, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone, where friends may register from noon until 1 p.m.
Charles was born Feb. 25, 1947, in Baltimore, Md., to Conrad and Nina (Seaman) Desaulniers.

William "Bill" Harrison, 75, died suddenly Friday evening, April 2, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. 6th St. in Vinton. Interment will be held at the Cox Cemetery near Urbana with Graveside Military Rites conducted by the Walter J. Robert K. Steffa (1919-2010)
WATERLOO - Robert K. Steffa, 90, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, March 23, at Lakeview Landing of Friendship Village from health complication.
He was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Gladbrook, son of Amon and Marie Schmoldt Steffa. He married Dorothy Weber on Dec. 4, 1940. She died Feb. 25, 2007.
Mr. Steffa earned a bachelor's degree from Cornell College and received his master's degree in chemistry at Emory University.
